5. Orders and Acceptance

An order placed on dbsa.store constitutes an offer to purchase, not acceptance.

An order is deemed accepted only once:

  • The order has been formally confirmed or dispatched by DBSA

  • Payment must clear in DBSA’s bank account before manufacturing or dispatch

DBSA is not responsible for delays caused by late or failed payments.

  • Lead times may vary based on stock availability, manufacturing schedules, and supplier delays

  • Delivery timelines commence only after receipt of payment and any required approvals or drawings

DBSA shall not be liable for losses arising from delivery delays beyond its reasonable control.

8. Cancellations and Returns

8.1 Standard / Off-the-Shelf Products

Returns may be considered at DBSA’s discretion and may be subject to:

  • Restocking fees

  • Handling charges

  • Return freight costs

8.2 Custom or Made-to-Order Products

Custom-manufactured products cannot be cancelled or returned once manufacturing has commenced.

Cancelled orders may incur:

  • A handling fee

  • A design or engineering fee, where applicable

9. Technical Information and Errors

While all reasonable care is taken:

  • Technical specifications, drawings, images, and descriptions are provided for guidance only

  • Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies may occur

DBSA reserves the right to correct any errors without liability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • DBSA shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of profit, downtime, or business interruption

  • DBSA’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the value of the product supplied

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where exclusion is unlawful under South African law.

Products are supplied with any manufacturer warranties where applicable.

DBSA does not warrant:

  • Installation workmanship not performed by DBSA

  • Misuse, modification, or incorrect application

  • Damage arising from improper storage or installation

is the intellectual property of DBSA or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written consent.
